“Hey,” Martín said, amused. “They said that if you kiss them, they wake up!”
Sebastián drove his eyes from the bed where his cousin was resting, to the demon sitting at the other side of the bed. “Leave”
The demon blinked, then shrugged, his hands drumming on Daniel’s bed. “You know, I could save him if you just do some errants for me”
“I’m afraid I must decline” Sebastián said, his eyes growing cold in hate and disgust, “I do not negotiate with the likes of you”
“So… you’ll let him die” Martín gave him a devilish smile. “The only person that ever cared about you, that didn’t leave you behind like the rest.”
“I believe I told you to leave”
“You’re going to let the only person that loved you for what you are, die” the demon stood up, and walked towards the door.”And we both know that you are just as disgusting as my kind is”
“Do you want me to repeat myself again, demon?”
Martín laughed and walked away, his form disappearing before he got to the door.
Sebastián waited, the fingers of his hands tangling with eachother, until the heavy aura with a stink of sulfur melted into nothing but air with a smell of some strong medicine.
Sebastián looked back to where his cousin was sleeping. He sat up just a bit, and leaned to Daniel’s face, pressing his mouth to his.
Daniel’s lips were cold and dry. They felt dead. Sebastián broke the kiss, and waited.
There was no response.
With his forehead against his cousin’s, Sebastián cursed.
He was running out of ideas. And time.
